1. Apply for a Twitter Developer Account
First, you have to apply for a Twitter developer account if you haven't already. It takes 2–3 days to get activated. Once it is active:

2. Add Your Keys to the Config
You will get your consumer keys and authentication tokens. Grab your keys and tokens and paste them into the config file at config/default.json.

3. Run the Bot
Install the dependencies and run the handler:
npm install

4. Deploy to AWS Lambda
Once the code is ready, I deploy this JavaScript function as a Lambda on AWS and trigger it every 2 hours. Why Lambda? Because AWS Lambda is serverless — there is no downtime, and I don't pay any extra amount to AWS. I only pay for what I consume. For me it works out very cheap, around 0.15 dollars a month or less.
